Incurable Ways

Sensations of wicked and evil the damned.
Embracing the fallen and hungry and maimed.
Burning the fruitful and righteous to ash.
Enslaving the cohorts of dreams that are lost.
Things that were built are torn to the ground.
And destruction is rampant throughout all the land.
Societies lost children have risen to take.
All good things from the tormentors they hate.
Incurable ways brought on the changing of days.
The meek take the might and bring forth the new rights.
Incurable ways brouth on the changing of days.
Torrents of blood the hatred it flows,
down the channels of loves long lost vows.
Horrendous blackness the sky filled with the smoke,
the children of tommorrow bring on a new hope.
Fleeing the war cry the leaders all flee,
To caves deep in mountains and under the sea.
The crypt they choose one made by their times,
electric and concrete the tomb of mankind.
Incurable ways brought on the changing of days.
The meek take the might and bring forth the new rights.
Incurable ways brouth on the changing of days.
Years have long past and our guardians watch,
for the return of evil and all of its flock.
From tombs sealed in earth a respit of the past,
we all must stay vigilant or the truth will not last.

Laughing

Posted in 1990 - 2000 Poetry on October 6th, 1992 by Nick Razer

crowded streets
as raindrops fall
looking outside through a window

reflection lasts
in the glass
watching rain splash on the sill now

hear the beat
of rain and feet
crowded streets as rain falls

watching out
through the crowd
I think I see you laughing
and I could swear I hear you laughing

crowded streets
as raindrops fall
moving outside through the doorway

cross the road
to seek you out
to find the spot where you were standing

hear the beat
of rain and feet
crowded streets as rain falls

looking around
my clothes are soaked
I guess I didnt see you laughing
I guess I didnt hear you laughing
