Lurking Fear

Highway road, traveling signs,
mile by mile, diners to dine.
Highway road, telephone poles,
endless wires, connecting countless souls.
Highway road, passing lane,
driving faster, through the rain.
Highway road, stars at night,
shining reflecting, on the pavement.
Highway road, stretched ahead,
endless lengths, forever.
